
Dr. Gregory Shupik
Periodontist
Dr. Gregory Shupik received his doctorate in dental medicine with high honors from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon graduating, he attended Temple University School of Dentistry where he received his certificate in periodontics. Dr. Shupik has continued to share his expertise as the Director of Implantology and the Director of the Advanced Periodontics AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) Residency Program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey.
Dr. Shupik has been involved in organized dentistry for his entire career and has held teaching positions at Tufts University, the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, and Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Additionally, he is an officer in the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. When not treating patients, Dr. Shupik enjoys spending time in South Jersey and Southern Delaware.

Dr. Sameer Kapoor
Periodontist
Dr. Sameer Kapoor is a periodontist who was born and raised in Allentown, PA. He attended Temple University for his undergraduate studies and his passion for science led him to complete a master’s in biomedical science with high honors.
He was a college professor in his early career and taught five different courses in biology, as well as anatomy and physiology. However, Dr. Sam’s dream was to become a dentist, so he continued his studies at the State University of New York, where he obtained his doctorate in dental surgery.
Throughout dental school, Dr. Sam was attracted to a specialization in periodontics. He appreciates the relationship between immunology and microbiology seen in the treatment and understanding of periodontics. Dr. Sam accepted a position at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Indianapolis. During his three-year intensive specialty program, Sam obtained advanced training in atraumatic tooth extractions, dental implant surgery, gum grafting, bone grafting, sedation, and oral medicine. Concurrently, Dr. Sam graduated with a master of science in periodontology and a minor in oral pathology from Purdue University in Indianapolis.
Dr. Sam loves getting to know his patients and offering the most state-of-the-art techniques in periodontics and dental implantology. In Sam’s free time, he enjoys taking long walks with his family.

Dr. Thomas Ulicny
Periodontist
Dr. Thomas Ulicny is originally from Long Island, NY where he attended Stony Brook University to pursue his bachelor of science in biology. He developed a passion for the field of dentistry and attended dental school at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. With a passion to provide care to diverse patient populations, he decided to pursue a postgraduate program in periodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Ulicny appreciates the importance of establishing positive relationships with his patients as they pursue optimal oral health. He enjoys being involved with organized dentistry. He has served in many leadership roles over the years through the American Student Dental Association and is currently a member of the New Dentist Committee for the New York County Dental Society.
